Hi, I’m Liv.
After spending six years pursuing film and theatre outside of my home state, I found myself pulled back to Montana with a completely different perspective on storytelling, creativity, and the way people emotionally connect to brands, places, and experiences. What started as a creative instinct eventually became Bozeman Media Design, which has grown into one of the leading digital marketing agencies in the Northwest.
As a sixth generation Montanan, I’ve always believed the strongest brands are built through trust, relationships, and a genuine understanding of the people they’re speaking to. That belief still shapes everything we do at BMD today. Over the last four years, the agency has evolved into a full service creative and marketing firm working across brand strategy, creative direction, website design, campaign development, content production, and digital marketing for brands in hospitality, real estate, tourism, lifestyle, and luxury markets.
What matters most to me is building work that feels thoughtful, relevant, and lasting. I think people can immediately feel when something is over manufactured versus when it comes from a real point of view. That balance of strategy and authenticity has become a huge part of both my work and the type of clients and partnerships I’m drawn to.
Alongside growing BMD, I also discovered a passion for working directly with founders, creatives, and executives on personal brand development. I’ve become deeply interested in the intersection of business and personal presence, and how much trust and connection can be built when someone clearly understands their voice, perspective, and story. Through consulting and long term advisory partnerships, I help founders shape brands that feel aligned both online and in real life.
That perspective naturally led to the launch of The Brief, our podcast and creative platform based out of our downtown Bozeman studio. Through conversations with founders, creatives, entrepreneurs, and cultural voices from across the country, we explore business, branding, creativity, hospitality, culture, and the evolving idea of modern entrepreneurship.
Outside of agency and consulting work, I’ve also built a growing platform centered around thoughtful partnerships with hospitality groups, product brands, and destinations I genuinely connect with. I’ve always believed the best partnerships happen naturally, when there’s already a real alignment between the brand, the lifestyle, and the story being told.
At the center of all of this is a genuine love for curation and creative direction, which naturally spills into so many parts of my life. I love fashion and the way personal style can tell a story without saying a word. I love a beautiful hotel lobby, an unforgettable dinner, thoughtful details, candlelight, playlists, flowers on the table, and experiences that make people feel something. I love being outside and the nostalgia tied to moments like riding horses, fishing on the river at sunset, spending long summer evenings on a golf course, or piling into a car with friends for a weekend away.
I think life becomes so much more beautiful when it’s lived intentionally. The brands we build, the spaces we create, the people we surround ourselves with, the partnerships we say yes to, the conversations we have over dinner or coffee or a walk downtown, all of it shapes the kind of world we get to live in. To me, branding has never just been about marketing. It’s about creating a feeling people want to be part of.
At the core of everything I do is a belief that world class brands can absolutely be built from places like Montana. You don’t have to sacrifice personality, warmth, or human connection in order to operate at a high level. If anything, I think those qualities matter more than ever. Through BMD, consulting, The Brief, and my creative partnerships, I’m ultimately interested in building things that feel elevated but welcoming, strategic but deeply personal, and memorable in a way that actually lasts.
